The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the world’s most recognized entry-level scuba qualification, allowing you to dive independently with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet). This lifelong certification serves as your "passport" to explore reefs, wrecks, and marine life globally.

The PADI Advanced Open Water (AOW) Diver course is a 2-3 day program designed to build confidence and expand diving skills through five specialized adventure dives, including mandatory Deep and Underwater Navigation dives. Open to certified Open Water divers aged 12+, it offers experience in new areas like night or wreck diving without formal classroom exams. Certified to dive to depths up to 30 meters (100ft)

The PADI Rescue Diver course is best described as “Challenging” and “rewarding”.
Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on preventing problems and how to manage them if they occur.
You need to be Current for First Aid and CPR within the previous two years.

The PADI Divemaster program is the first step into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving. Working directly with a PADI Instructor. You will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

The PADI Instructor Certification allows you to teach scuba diving worldwide, achieved by completing the Instructor Development Course (IDC) and passing the two day Instructor Examination (IE). Candidates must be certified as a Divemaster for six months, have 100+ logged dives, and hold EFR instructor ratings.

Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) maintains a partnership with PADI to offer scuba diving programs, including the Scuba Diving merit badge, which requires PADI Open Water Diver certification. White River Dive Company is a proud supporter of the Blazing Trails District and Ozark Trails Council to help Scouts in our area experience the adventure of learning to Scuba Dive.
